media practical 1

For this picture I used a shutter speed of 60/1000 to get the right speed for the torch to show up on my photograph.

For this image I wanted the leaves to look like they had just been chucked into the air without any blurryness of the person in the background, i made them throw leaves in the air and try jump at the same time to do this. I used a shutter speed of 40/1000

In this practical lesson I have learnt how to use shutter speed correctly because before hand I didn't know how to use it. Shutter speed is used to get the right movement in your photograph so you can capture the movement of an image without it being blury. I used this skill effiecently as I could however my main weakness was still gaining blury images and forgetting what the shutter speed was. My strength was being able to focus properly on the image and capture it so I achieved what being able to use shutter speed correctly. To progress I need to remember what my shutter speed is after takeing the pictures for when I edit them.
